My Diabetic Story
After a few hours, I got mail from Family Doctor, they wanted I visited them preferable in the morning hours on an empty stomach. Again, I called and make the first available appointment for the earliest day available, which was in 4 days.

My glasses were ready and my first experience wearing them was unbelievable. In the sense, I was living in a different world for the past few years. First, I almost tripped once I left the mall, next I misread the step in bus while getting in. Both times, I almost fell. Once I was in town center reality kicked in. I removed my glasses and was staring at a billboard about 300 meters away with blurred vision, with glasses same billboard was clearly visible. I came to terms that something is not right with body at the moment.
I visited family doctor; they collected blood for second time. Then was asked to read the Snellen chart. All done in 5 minutes. They gave me the much-anticipated health certificate for driving school. At this point, I thought all was ok, all smiles and I thanked and left.
Same evening received email and was asked to confirm to meet the Doctor, this time on a specific date and time. I thought all was ok so anyway I went to meet the doctor. The form I filled out when I first came was on the table. First thing the doctor said, “YOU HAVE TYPE 2 DIAETES”. I was little arrogant after hearing this, I said no way this can’t be true. So, in July 2020, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with 8.8 A1c. Then questions followed,
you drink every day?
Yes about few cans of beer or 150 ml of 40%,
Exercise?
never and I barely walk.
BMI, 5’5 Indian Male 92 kilograms is overweight. This I had no arguments as this is physical and I can see this, so I blushed. You have blurred vision; this also is one of the symptoms. My palms started to sweat as my father died of type 2 diabetes at 49. I was terrified by the end of the 15-minute discussion. The doctor asked out of curiosity why you drink every day, I replied I only drink just before sleep as it helps me fall sleep. His reply was little different, why don’t you try sleeping pills to fall sleep, I can prescribe. I had this idea in the past in India also but also knew sleeping pills come only with prescription. I wanted to try and agreed to use them. Along with them was also prescribed blood sugar control pills. My soul straight away repelled the blood sugar control pills, I had this feeling and knew straight away that I will never try these. Somehow after the big shocking news about being diagnosed with diabetes type 2, I had the courage to tell the doctor straight that, I can heal out of this naturally. I will try to beat this. He smiled and anyway prescribed all pills.
I instantly realized I said but I didn’t have a plan or even clue about how I would heal out of this, as just few a minutes before, I became aware myself. This is where I understood sometimes soul intervenes in prompting with words that are due to come true in near future. From a spiritual angle, I believe that soul see the entire life journey of this current life before it claims the womb and enters its claimed body. It is believed it enters from the opening from the skull which no surgeon will touch or operate on. I would find out about this sometime in 2022 during my spiritual awakening journey.
Until 2020, I mostly used my 2 best sources of information; google and YouTube for entertainment and cooking related topics. Over the next few years these two sources would assist me in completely healing out of type 2 diabetes naturally and safely.
For first few weeks after diagnosis, I was casual as I always am. Then I saw some videos and did some researching and found out that type 2 diabetes is lifestyle disease, I attracted it because I eat a lot of carbohydrates, drink alcohol until this time mostly beer, love very high in sugar sweets, eat 2 or 3 times a day. Exercise never and walk only if needed, example shopping and other essentials. I could have reversed it right here if I chose to eliminate the above eating and drinking habits. But I wanted to enjoy life, I am a self-made chef, I consider myself something close to Michelin start chef, in a funny way. Frankly speaking, I am a foodie, I love, enjoy and cherish food. I have enhanced tastebuds on my tongue. All this meant only one thing. I was not giving up something so precious to me in one go. At least not so easily. Sacrificing delicious food, precious alcohol meant losing something that cannot be replaced. Again here, the spiritual angle would come in later the experience of losing a family member or a relative or a close friend. When this happens, I could not eat or chose not to eat. Frankly how could I, the grief and pain was so intense that food, water and other things were the last things on my mind. But body was smart enough to keep me heal and healthy and breathing during these difficult times. But these are extra ordinary circumstances and during these periods subconsciously, I wouldn’t feel like eating or drinking anyway.
So, I decided food and drinks are very dear to be and I will not let go. At least not at this point, this was my idea. Then came the reversal journey.
STEP ONE: Reading the diabetes report correctly
Since I chose not to take blood sugar control tablets, I needed to be my own doctor. So, I tried to watch some videos on YouTube and research the net but there was so much information from so many influencers, researchers and even doctors. I couldn’t decipher my type 2 diabetes blood report at this point. It appeared unimportant to me anyway. So, I wanted to focus on food and lifestyle changes.
STEP TWO: Wine and Dine
Since I wanted alcohol to be a part of my life, I researched on something like best drinks for type 2 diabetes and lot of influencers suggested red wine. For food the suggestion was foods that digest slowly and release carbohydrates slowly into the body. When I researched about these kinds of food items, they were mostly whole grains and I chose: oats, sprouted beans. For vegetables I chose pumpkin, cucumber and tomato. It was difficult for me as I do not like vegetarian food items. I eat vegetarian foods occasionally but combined with eggs or meat. So, I took recipes from YouTube. I fried the oats on high flame while they cooled, I cut my vegetables and mixed and breakfast was ready. There was only one problem. It was difficult to eat the oats as they were very hard and required lot of chewing and effort. But sprouts helped as they were soft and juicy. I stuck to this breakfast for some time. For dinner I eat meat almost every night so there was no change to this. Since I am from India, I eat a lot of Rice as in at least 250 grams raw rice usually converts to more than 500 grams once cooked. Mostly I eat all of it. Based on my research brown rice would be a better choice, so I switched to brown rice in the night for dinner with red wine and meat. I stuck to this lifestyle for few months and was very curious about checking status of my diabetes. So, I took my second blood test in November 2020 and A1c was 8.5.
STEP THREE
I got busy in my work life and was sipping a lot of red wine. Stuck to low carbs breakfast combined with eggs. After almost a year I took my third blood test in October 2021. This time A1c was 9,7. Something was not quite right with my body too as the worst part of type 2 diabetes for me was, not visible symptoms. Think about it this way, since I am a self-made chef I cook my own food every day, every time. Sometimes I cut finger and see blood and panic. I feel the urge to stop the blood flow, use cream and antiseptics, take antibiotics and so on. Compared to a 9.7 A1c which could certainly cause heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, limb dissection and worst even death. My point here is, even though all these are fatal effects on type 2 diabetes,
I was still casual as I did not see symptoms in external sense or did not know how to read the symptoms. The actual symptoms appear when they reach a deadly 90 to 95% stage. Which means an ambulance within minutes, surgery and complicated operations or even worse. In my father’s case, the doctor discharged and said there very advanced stage symptoms and there is nothing they can do, take him home and he died in few weeks after that. On the other hand, with the finger cut, I see blood, I see wound, I can apply medicine on the wound, and I can follow recovery process, and I focus more on that than type 2 diabetes.
During my spiritual journey, I would find answers about how my brain functions. Since I am only talking about my experience, it would be incorrect to summarize these concepts generally to all human brain function. So, I will take at least few humans brain functions. Since these are spiritual experiences, it is very difficult to prove these or provide evidence as every spiritual being’s experience is their own. Even when I get messages in my dreams, they are mostly coded or riddled. Example: 4 legs, stripes, carnivore. I see four legs; I see some animal eating its prey. But I need to decode this myself mostly. It could be a tiger or a hyena. I can only guess. These are early days in the spiritual journey and maybe vision and messages will be clearer and more specific in the future. Anyway, what I discovered during my spiritual journey is that everything that I ate was once potentially alive. It does not matter how big or small.
At religious level this argument can be easily ignored. I say this boldly, less then 2% of the human population can be on the spiritual path. I can also say that these are the chosen ones. So, if at one religious level if someone says eating this animal is against our beliefs or in other religions level eating any animal is against their beliefs and in few eating animal or animal products totally is against their beliefs then I agree completely with everyone and respect them separately. Because if someone is at spiritual level, as for me everything has life. Rice grain that I eat, apples, mangoes, anything if I put the seeds in compost and follow process, they will germinate which is proof of life. I will explain about the concept of religion, gods later. Now, coming to how my brain processes information and differentiates between what life to eat and why and why other life forms are negligible. Herbivores and bird’s, animals like goat, sheep, chicken, duck etc. have blood and flesh so anything has red blood like mine,
I doubt myself can I eat this as this was alive once. Sometimes I used to get guilty conscious too. I was never religious right from my childhood. So, I put myself out of eating restrictions which meant, I could choose to eat what I preferred as against the set guidelines. But I break eggs for omelet without guilty conscious. I eat rice and fruits also without hesitation. Concept I discovered here is eggs could also hatch and grow into chicken, seedling germinate but there is no blood or flesh here so unconsciously I eat more eggs and grains with one animal. Means in a day if I eat 1000 grains of rice, 2 fruits, and one whole chicken. It literally means I consumed 1003 potential lifeforms in a day. But I am conscious only about the one chicken as it relates to me in terms of blood, bones, flesh which are in common. So, at spiritual level I realized that intention matters the most. If I eat chicken as food, it is for the same purpose as grains and fruit. Harming animals or any living creatures consciously will have karmic consequences. Plants also communicate, trees speak to themselves, and we can also speak to trees or for that matter any living creature once we decode the functioning of nature.
STEP FOUR
After my last A1C, Based on my further research and analysis of various charts. I was heading downhill health wise in theory. In real world, there were no cuts or wounds so I was lying to myself that things cannot be so wrong as my day-to-day life looked absolutely normal. Year was ending and I had made a promise to my wife about cruise ship vacation. Since we sailed during Christmas new year, there were lots of beers, banquet buffet, duty free alcohol, being a foodie, I went on food and drinks feast with no restrictions. Once I was back, I again I felt something was not right again. But still no symptoms or I couldn’t read the symptoms, I would later realize that my body was sending clear and strong danger signals, but I couldn’t decode them yet. I wanted another blood test. In January 2022 A1c was 10.3
In one of the random YouTube video, I heard this which changed my perspective on my life. The influencer said, “If you maintain the same lifestyle after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, you will live well but possible for a decade or less maybe not more than that. I took some time off, as my A1C hit double digits and started to focus in more detail about the dangers. Then I first intensified my search on reading diabetes reports, charts, understanding numbers and terms amongst other. I found that diabetes type 2 can be measured in various types
In FBG or Fasting blood
Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG) Test
What: Measures blood sugar after you haven’t eaten for at least 8 hours.
Results:
Normal: < 100 mg/dL
Prediabetes: 100–125 mg/dL
Diabetes: 126 mg/dL or higher (on two separate tests)
HbA1c Test (Glycated Hemoglobin)
What: Reflects your average blood sugar over the past 2–3 months.
Results:
Normal: < 5.7%
Prediabetes: 5.7%–6.4%
Diabetes: 6.5% or higher
Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT)
What: After fasting, you drink a sugary solution, and your blood sugar is tested 2 hours later.
Results (2-hour reading):
Normal: < 140 mg/dL
Prediabetes: 140–199 mg/dL
Diabetes: 200 mg/dL or higher
Random Blood Sugar Test
What: A blood sugar check taken at any time, without fasting.
If blood sugar is 200 mg/dL or higher, plus symptoms (like excessive thirst, urination, fatigue), it may indicate diabetes.
So was little confusing to follow many things, so I found the simplest way to identify and follow type 2 diabetes in layman’s terms, which is A1C.
A1C (also called HbA1c or glycated hemoglobin) is a blood test that shows your average blood sugar level over the past 2 to 3 months.
How Does It Work?
Hemoglobin is a protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen.
When sugar (glucose) is in your blood, it sticks to the hemoglobin.
The more sugar in your blood, the more it “glycates” (attaches to) the hemoglobin.
The A1C test measures the percentage of hemoglobin coated with sugar.
A1C Results & What They Mean:
A1C (%) Blood Sugar (mg/dL, approx.) What It Means
Below 5.7% Below 117 mg/dL Normal
5.7%–6.4% 117–137 mg/dL Prediabetes
6.5% or higher 137 mg/dL or higher Diabetes (Type 2)
Note: The higher your A1C, the higher your risk of diabetes complications.
Why Is It Useful?
No fasting needed — it can be done any time.
Gives a long-term picture of your blood sugar control.
Used to diagnose diabetes and also to track how well it’s being managed.
So, remember, after my first visit to my family doctor, I was suggested to visit the second time for blood test. This was because, type 2 diabetes is diagnosed after 2 blood test results. On both tests the A1C must be above 6.5 level. If on both the blood tests show that A1C is above 6.5 then the person is diabetic. I figured this out and started reading only the A1C or in some reports HBA1C or HBA all are same. I saw the progression and why it progressed so also, as I was eating and drinking without restriction in the past few months. So, identifying just A1C and reading this was much easier for me then trying to understand the whole blood report. Since I now knew how diabetes type 2 worked, I had a number, the magic figure was 5.6. With a 5.6 A1C people are neither pre diabetic nor diabetic, they are normal. So, I had this target in mind from January 2022. I started my journey to chase it down.
So, I was home all day and dedicated all free time on research and experiments. First thing I discovered was that a human body has two fuel sources. But it uses only one at a time. Which one it uses depends on the persons eating habits and awareness. The first and most common fuel source is glucose or sugar, or carbohydrates or carbs all are clubbed together as final byproduct of all these converts to just one. Second is fats. Both fuel sources come from plants and animals. At this point, I very clearly understood what a human body needs to function and how the body uses fuel source.
I also figured out how type 2 diabetes generally occurs. In simple terms “anything that is vegetarian is mostly carbs. When we eat carbs, carbohydrates, mostly starch are broken down by enzymes into simple sugars, mainly glucose. Glucose is absorbed through the lining of the small intestine into the bloodstream. Once in the blood, blood sugar levels rise, and the body uses insulin to help move glucose into cells for energy or storage. Then blood sugar levels come back to normal as the body successfully utilized the glucose.
This is very important, irrespective of body status if diabetic or non-diabetic, if a human eats carbs rich in starch or sugar, once digested it will spike blood sugar levels it acts like a lock. To unlock the spike and normalize the sugar level a key is required, that is insulin.
The body in response to counter the spike will trigger pancreas to releases insulin. Once insulin enters the blood stream it acts like a key and unlock all sugar or excess sugar and will use it as energy and excess will be stored for later use.
Now if a human eats excessive amount of carbs regularly and over a period of time them a state occurs in the blood stream where more carbs or sugars or glucose is flushed into the blood stream at such a fast pace that, the pancreas are not able to keep up with same ratio of carbs intake. Which means excessive intake of carbs which is lock and due to this state, the insulin which needs to unlock the glucose becomes less effective or only some keys unlock the sugars which are absorbed and utilized for energy or stored for later, unused sugar or glucose floats in the blood stream. Over a period of time, like a few years this unlocked glucose builds up. They are measured in the form of A1C or HBA1C or HBA. If the score of the floating unlocked or unused glucose in blood reads 6.5 or higher on two blood tests, then a person is declared as type 2 diabetic. If a person does take corrective measures or doesn’t identify minor or unnatural symptoms then this leads to stroke or heart attack or kidney failure and finally death.
Normally report in death certificate, the cause of death comes up as death due to multiple organ failure. As scary as it may sound, the truth is that this is how most of the non-diagnosed humans end up.
I could see the entire cycle about type 2 diabetes now, I understood that carbs spiked my blood sugar, and I needed to switch to low carb or zero carb diet. Since I love meat, including fish, poultry and poultry products, the switch seemed straight forward and simple to me. But when I actually tried, I realized, my staple food was rice, and I couldnt just eat animal products alone.
So, I researched about KETO. Where about 50 grams of carbs or less may be included, I tried KETO for a week in February, still drinking alcohol. Since this research was the only thing, I was doing during this time, I had plenty of time to watch, search and figure out minute details of every food item and drink that effects blood sugar, how it effects and how can it be monitored and controlled. First thing I noticed I used to check my weight every morning, once I got up, I passed urine first then checked my weight, 3 times over 2-minute period as sometimes scale misreads, so 2 accurate weight readings I would consider consistent. At my peak I weighed 98 kilos. Even with keto diet weight fluctuated between 96 and 98 kilos. So, in theory, the weight had to come down considerably. But somehow even with strict keto diet for a week nothing seems to be changing. I had to go back to the drawing board again. I started to focus on the eating and drinking habits again. More videos more blogs search and multiple articles, after this I identified one important element.
Beer belly, I was in United Kingdom for my Masters in 2006. I used to drink a lot of beer in my 20” s and the next day my stomach would swell even without eating or drinking, the Birts used the term beer belly for this. It sounded cool and fun, so I thought if stomach swells after a night out due to drinking it’s just beer belly and its cool. Little did I know that there is nothing called as beer belly and it’s not cool if your stomach swells because it was not my stomach that was swelling, it was the liver. Every time I drank excessive beer, next few days stomach would swell, but it was the liver in fact. Regular drinking leads to excess fat build up in the liver and it was this excess fat that led to swelling of liver and fat stomach. Now that I knew the root cause, beer belly term sounded dangerous.
I also found out another sing to monitor the diabetes type 2 with swollen stomach. If I could see my toes standing straight with fatty stomach then I could safely say, I am not diabetic but if I couldn’t see my toes standing upright then I could be diabetic type 2. At this point I did more detailed research on beer, red wine or any wine or alcohol in general and self-concluded that anything that tastes sweet has glucose and spikes blood sugar levels and encourages insulin resistance in diabetics type 2 patients. Beer doesn’t have sugar but spikes blood sugar anyway due to its high carb content as carbs and sugars are same fuel source to the body. Then I came to conclusion that I will stop drinking beer and wine.
I switched to 40% alcohol like vodka and whisky. After a week again there was no change in my weight. Nor did my stomach size reduce. This meant only one thing, it was not working. Then I came across intermittent fasting, where I used to eat and drink only during the set 4 hours period and remaining 20 hours, I would fast. There was slight change in my weight after this, but nothing changed. After end of February, I was angry as whatever I did results were not as I expected. The result I was aiming for was excessive weight loss on a regular basis and bulge in my stomach to reduce or go away. At this point I released that I was not a normal human as why would a normal human leave work, earnings and pursue something out of the box. If I had a millions of euros or at least 5-digit bank balance or even 4-digit bank balance on a consistent basis, it would make sense to purse and seek further knowledge. But I had none of that, yet my soul used to persuade me to go beyond my means to try things that a common man wouldn’t.
Then came first week of March. I felt I wasn’t doing enough. But relation with my wife started going downhill, as I couldn’t give any results or explain how I could recover or if I could recover at all. Mostly why was I doing this instead of simply taking pills. As days passed during the last week of March, I came across a powerful influencer as I now was beyond, low carbs, KETO, intermittent fasting and OMAD one meal a day experiments as nothing changed my weight so I knew based on my research that A1C levels will not reduce unless I lost a considerable amount of weight. Then I learned about glycemic index. A way to measure the sugar content of food items.
Glycemic Index (GI) – A well-known measure (0–100) that ranks carbohydrate-containing foods based on how quickly they raise blood glucose levels.
Low GI (≤55): Slow digestion, gradual sugar release (e.g., lentils, oats).
Medium GI (56–69): Moderate impact (e.g., whole wheat bread).
High GI (≥70): Rapid spike (e.g., white rice, watermelon).
Glycemic Load (GL) – Adjusts GI for serving size (GI × carbs per serving ÷ 100). Better for real-world portions.
Low GL (≤10): Minimal impact (e.g., carrots).
High GL (≥20): Significant effect (e.g., mashed potatoes).
I tried this also but again there was absolutely no progress. Now I did research on drinking alcohol and how it was affecting as I stop all carbs related drinks. Based on the study, I found out that even though hard liquor doesn’t have carbs and does not spike blood sugar levels, but it effects in different way. I found that body treats liquor as poison, So the body prioritizes in getting rid of the alcohol first. In other words, I had to stop drinking, without this I couldn’t continue further. I had a similar situation in 2016 while I was in India. I used to smoke around 20 cigarettes a day. ED happened and I made a split-second decision to quit cigarettes from that day. And I stuck to it and recovered from it. I had this in the back of my mind. So, something else had to happen, something extreme as usual stuff was not working.
STEP FIVE
I was against exercise as I am basically very lazy and like to relax instead on sweating or doing some fake exercises. Since I no longer was interested in traditional weight loss methods, I dug deep into extensive or dangerous methods to lose excessive weight instantly or within days. There was this influencer who said “if you want to lose weight just stop eating” at this stage I was not spiritual at least not yet. So, I came in the 98% category of human and said to myself, this guy is crazy, how can I survive if I don’t eat. I snubbed this theory and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, again I had a big argument with my wife about what I was doing and what I plan to achieve as at this point, I didn’t have nothing to show or explain but had lost about 2 months for nothing.
I went back to this influencer on YouTube who suggested “if you want to lose weight then just stop eating, simple”. The idea itself scared me, but I had tried everything else unto this point so left me with few options or frankly speaking no other options, I was thinking at least let me try. As far as I know myself, I am a risk taker, a pioneer, a leader who can pave way for others to follow. This can only be proved my taking initiatives, putting theory into practice or doing something out of the box even if I didn’t believe that the resulting outcome will be in my Favour or not. This is what born leaders do. It was Monday morning early April. I decided I am going to try this crazy experiment as I was not shedding weight no matter how hard I tried. So, the term for this new experiment was long-term fasting for a day or two. But based on further research, I realized that day or two would not help, fasting would need to be for at least 4 or 5 days and the worst part no water also. In simple terms no food or no water for 5 days.
Literally meant I couldn’t brush or use water after toilet or even go out if was snowing or raining or if outside was wet. As crazy as it sounded, I am not a kind of soul who backs down as I know deep down that I am build for bigger things. I did a quick R&D and loaded body with vital minerals and vitamins on Monday evening with various soups, vegetables and fruits. Come Monday night around 10 PM, I decided now I will not eat anything or drink or even touch water in any form. This was called as extreme fasting or dry fasting. Just in case I kept bottle of water nearby. The idea was to try if for a day or two at first and break the fast and come back again if it worked. Come Tuesday, I checked my weight nothing strange 98 kilos. In order to trick the brain, whenever my stomach growled, I used to watch street food videos on YouTube. Since I had nothing to do, I could watch for hours. Surprisingly I didn’t feel hungry in the afternoon. I felt thirsty so I watched juice and street drink maker videos. Again, after some time I felt my mouth was not dry anymore and neither I felt thirsty. By nightfall during dinner time, I watched feasting videos. The simulation seemed to work for the first day. I took sleeping pill to fall asleep as I stopped drinking alcohol. Surprisingly, I realized that I had pissed around 5 times in the first day. I knew I had definitely lost weight because I had let go of atleast 1 liter of water in the form of urine.
Next morning day 2, again, once I got up first thing, I took a leak and jumped on the weighing scale. Surprise! it clocked 95.8, that was clean 2.2 kilograms wiped out. I got a lot of confidence after this. I wanted to continue again, If I felt hungry or thirsty I watched videos and simulation was working. I literally could feel water in the mouth, and I was swallowing it. It was like drinking water drop by drop, but it was quenching my thirst, so I had nothing to argue about. I kept on pissing, at least 4 times. I was wondering where is the water coming from, If I am not drinking? Anyway, funniest thing happened during dinner time that night when I got a burp while watching food tour videos. I was little shocked, as it felt the same as if my stomach was full. At this instant, I knew things were in the right order now and I was set to lose weight. Next morning day 3 weight was 94.3. But as the day progressed, I started to feel tired and dizzy. As in after watching videos, when I got up from bed to go pass urine and I felt very light and weak. Since I was not working or doing any kind of work, was easy to focus further. I watched movies and switched to videos whenever I felt hungry or thirsty. I started to miss food, but bigger objective was the target.
Sleeping was little difficult even after more than an hour of taking the sleeping pill. Next morning I woke up early. Normally a full sleeping tablet gave me at least 8 hours of sleep. This time was only 6. Weight was 93.5. I thought would be lesser. Day 4 was getting tough already as I had a very long day ahead due to less sleep. I was feeling dryness in my mouth, at this point I wasn’t even thinking about food, I would do anything for a glass of water. Urine was dark yellow, and quantity was less each time. I still pissed 3 times on day 4. Again, even with sleeping pill, getting sleep was a problem. I had woken up early and slept late in the night.
Some strange dreams, I was dreaming of water, juices and carbonated drinks. I don’t remember if I had dreamed of quenching thirst at all before this journey. Food yes, I have dreamed of eating buffets or exotic foods but water never. Again, I got up early, this time 5 hours sleep. Day 5 appeared lethargic and kind of bored already but anyway I was not going to give up. Weight was 92.7. Again, mouth was getting very dry, and it took hours of videos to simulate the brain. Since, I wanted to feast the next morning, I went to market and bought my favorite meat, fruits, juices, alcohol for the feast. It gave me motivation to continue also. Come nightfall, I couldn’t wait for morning as I was waiting for a good shower first. Even with sleeping pill I just could sleep even past midnight.
I don’t remember when I exactly slept but woke up half past four in the morning. I was very happy all as ok with my body and nothing serious happened. Checked weight no expectations as learnt by now that during initial days what I lost was water mostly, my body was way smarter than I had imagined. It would squeeze and only break fats for most essential purposes hence weight loss was not rapid. So, day 6 weight was 92.2. So that was 6 kilos in 5 straight days of dry fasting. Not bad but it was difficult experience. I took shower and broke my fast with lemon water. Idea was it would energize me fast without sugar. Bad idea, I instantly regrated it, but this drink to me was like a first taste of blood to a carnivore’s animal after days of hunger, even though it was hurting me, I couldn’t or wouldn’t stop. I drank the entire half liter of lemon water.
So, what happened: due to zero contact with water, my palate became very sensitive, just the first sip of citric acid corroded the entire palate. What a spoil sport. Anyway, after first half liter, I waited for around 2 hours and then tried chilled mango juice, now I could see little bit heaven. For lunch I cooked rice and meat gravy and had a feast. For dinner alcohol, surprisingly didn’t need too much as I got drunk very easily maybe 100 ml, 40%. I took my pill and got sleepy around 9 pm.
Had a great and sound sleep for almost 12 hours. I felt normal the next day, got on the scale and damn ! reality kicked in, weight was 95.3. Plus 3 kilos in a day? I really didn’t know how this actually worked as these minute details, I couldn’t find anywhere on YouTube or the internet. These had to come from personal experiences, frankly, speaking not many people would do something like this and even if they did wouldn’t give out minute details. Anyway, I lost all my motivation. The next day again almost 96 kilos. My weight was coming back, I was in a bit of shock. I put myself in one of the most difficult situations during those 5 days of dry fasting and I didn’t really know what else I could try now. Unfortunately, there is nothing more extremer than dry fasting if there was and If I had became aware of it, I was ready to try that too, whatever that was. Something strange was happening, I was pissing normally but no excretion. I went to pharmacy and bought pills for bowl movements; I took 1 in the evening.
Day 3 after dry fasting, research was getting more intense and detailed. Still no bowl movements, so took another tablet in the morning, one in the afternoon and finally I became light, but was not normal as before, I am not getting into these details. I was tapping on the minutest of details about how I could lose weight and gain back almost straight away. What was I missing? Day 4, I was researching and researching for hours and discovered a clue. Remember, I had done KETO diet before. I got the formula wrong and hence that didn’t work as it should have. Then general rule for KETO from few influencers was up to 50 grams of carbs a day. But how you calculate the exact amount, even if someone weighed precisely?
The glycemix index comes into play. It all sounded very complicated and again too much data, too many influencers, different perspectives. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn’t. Consistency was not there and highly unreliable. Further research on KETO was required. I wanted to get back to dry fasting again but needed to find out more details for consistent results as I had seen the journey. It is difficult than climbing a mountain. Five days after breaking my fast, my weight was at 97 kilos. This was a demotivating factor to start again.
I was thinking, what is the point if all the weight only came back in as many days the severe dry fasting lasted. Lack of options, lack of nothing. I felt empty, despite this state of mind, I picked up courage to start dry fasting again. The thought was, this was the only experiment that gave me weight loss of 6 kilos in 5 days. I made a plan to somehow figure out why my body started to put on weight so quickly. I took 12 hours to prep my body for the coming five and a half days.
Like last time just before taking sleeping pill around 10 pm. I drank a tall glass of water and started the fast. Next morning Day one weight was 96.9 This was the last week of March. I was doing intense research on KETO all day, process of getting in and how weight loss happens and so on. Then I came across one influencer who stated that the formula for KETO is less than 25 grams of carbs, not 50 as I thought previously. I got critical information from this video, which thought me about ketones. I knew about KETO as health influencers, random KETO researchers and others had explained about this previously. But this influencer looked like a doctor, He mentioned ketones. I dug deep into more videos about ketones and how they work.
I understood that during dry fasting, especially for type 2 diabetics, there is glucose in the blood which is the primary fuel source for the body available to use, but it can’t get into cells and keeps floating in the blood stream. Now since no more sugars or carbs or glucose is getting into the body in any form either solid or liquid. The body switches to secondary fuel source which is fat. Fats are like diamonds or Ruby or emerald or sapphire to the human body. Literally means use these only in the most extreme situation and in the least quantities possible. This made perfect sense to me, the body is way smarter than we can imagine, it will not let us die just like that. It will have reserves for weeks and knows how to use them most sparingly. This time I understood one basic fact of dry fasting, after 24 hours a lot of weight is lost which is mostly water, same will come back once I started drinking after breaking fast.
Day 1 was mostly busy, and I didn’t even know how the time flew all day. I took my pill and slept, fast asleep and woke up after almost 10 hours which was good as I had to spend less time being awake. Day 2 morning, Weight was 95.2. Day 2 little tough but passed normally. Day 3 morning, weight 93.9. Day 4 morning weight 93. Day 5 Morning weight 92.2.
Again day 5 was exiting as I could buy raw materials for tomorrows feast, good food, best drinks and other. Again, sleeping was problem. I just couldn’t sleep at one point I thought maybe my body is able to read my mind and is so desperate for water that it was willing to be awake all night until I broke my fast in the morning. Anyway, I slept after midnight and woke up half past 3, that was barely 3 hours sleep. Anyway, I didn’t feel tired due to lack of sleep and so on. ‘Weight was 91.5, I watched TV till 6 am and took shower and this time I broke my fast with plain water. After few hours a variety of juices one after the other. I took the pill for bowl movements well in advance. Noon time meat feast with James bond movie.
Dinner whisky with meat feast and dessert. Next morning 94 kilos, made me little sad but I really like the taste of that first sip of water after more than 5 days of dry fasting. Then the food tasted better than what I had been eating all these days, even though all was same, only the experience was thrilling and different. Day 2-night fall still no bowl movements. Took another tablet and slept. Next morning again problem with bowel movements so had to take tablet and drink lot of water. Again, another tablet in the afternoon and finally some action. Weight stabilized at 96 so in theory, I lost 2 kilos for 3 weeks’ time. This was one of the motivating factors.
Then again, I started to have self-doubts before starting the third marathon. Is all this really worth for losing just a kilo on average. Since research was on going both on YouTube and google search. I found an article which explained how to shed weight fast. It also was about KETO and ketones but this time from a different perspective. The idea was to put the body into ketosis very fast and stay in ketosis for as long as possible but not long enough, especially on dry fasting.
My safe zone was 5 days and 8 hours. So now I realized that depriving body of liquids and then loading up with sugar fluids was having an inverse effect. In other words, all the handwork I had put in those 5 days was almost instantly destroyed. With just one glass of juice which is worth more than 50 grams of carbs and plus the rice and dessert during the feast. At that time all these made sense as I needed something good after prolonged starving. But they were not solving the purpose, which was losing weight.
So, end of second week, I decided no sugars, less carbs, lots of meat, fish and no alcohol. I still had to figure out how to solve the bowl movements as body would just not let go of any resources that got in. Third week weight and experience was more or less the same or maybe I got used to it or something. Anyway, weight at the end of final day was around 90. Similar to previous experiments. I broke fast with water and did not touch any other fluids. I researched few KETO recipes and found out about cauliflower rice. I tried this with meat and gravy was little sweet anyway glycemic index of cauliflower is only 15, lesser the better for not spiking. Wasn’t the best feast so took it as part of experiment. Same food for dinner and no alcohol. Next morning surprisingly weight just didn’t rise instantly was 91.2 not bad.
Something was working. Next day 92 kilos. This was definitely working. I still had bad news with bowel movements. There was nothing I could do about this apart from just keep on pumping the tablets in, I even tried different ones. So I had to follow procedure to stay in ketosis. So got into dry fast which was my fourth marathon already. So, during ketosis body breaks only those fats and in only those areas that are least essential. Just after a couple of day, I already saw my stomach reduce, which meant liver was going back to normal.
During day 4 and day 5 I could feel something like nerves vibrating or moving briskly in groin, arm pits and back. I knew something was happening in the right way. Day six morning 85 kilos. I was highly motivated. Again next 2 days was very careful about carbs as I literally cut out sugars and alcohol. For bowl movement, I used a tonic suggested by pharmacist. Last week of April 5th session was on, end of day 6, 83 kilos. I wanted to take a blood test, strangely my doctor refused. As in I was advised not to take it based on my previous history , I got reply, “nothing will change significantly”. I couldn’t tell what I was doing, my experiments and research as these are 2 parallel things. I simply contacted the health board and switched my family doctor.
There was a waiting time and they would confirm by email once I was released from previous family doctor and accepted by new family doctor. The switch happened at the beginning of May, and I immediately booked appointment. I continued with my 6th session of dry fasting as things were like a routine by now. I was already eagerly waiting for the A1C score. All five days went as usual. Weight on 6th day morning was 82. Ketosis was working. 16 kilograms in 6 weeks. I was very confident about the blood test. Appointment was at 10 am so as usual, I woke up early and waited. Idea was to finish the blood test and then shower and break the fast. When I went to the clinic, the nurse refused to take blood samples and test. I asked for the doctor. She couldn’t communicate in English and I couldn’t understand what she was trying to tell.
I understood that previous doctor would have communicated with her or given feedback. So, blood test was not going to happen. I gave up this option and immediately was thinking of the next best option. I walked out half way during the meeting as there was no point in waiting as I had to break my fast and didn’t want to waste energy either. I went straight to the department who normally do the blood test. Gave samples and came back home. Took shower and broke my fast around noon. I wasn’t thinking about food, was constantly checking the health portal. Finally, around 3 pm, they uploaded my report.
It was a thrilling moment; I paused for a while as this was almost 6 weeks of unbelievable hard work. I saw the score, it was 6.1, Yes Ahaa moment. 6.1 A1C meant, I wasn’t diabetic anymore. Let’s say pre diabetic. But definitely not diabetic. I send report to both the family doctors. I was given appointment this time, I didn’t tell what I had done for healing and after short discussion my diabetic prescriptions were cancelled. I hadn’t used them anyway. I continued the dry fast cycle so as not to break the ketosis process. After 3 more weeks of dry fast. My weight came down to 70 kilograms. At this point I knew, I was not pre diabetic anymore. I was free from diabetes. I did not do any more blood tests. I got back to normal lifestyle. This is when, I started to identify the danger signs body sends. The vital distress signs that I couldn’t decode before. It felt like I had a new heart, new liver, kidneys, sex organ, everything was different after the journey.
I heard the dialogue between two men. “Next time, lose some weight between your legs and I will see you when I see you” from a movie. It just sounded funny at the time. But when I actually lost that weight between my legs, I could see the difference in conjugal functions. Basically, to my body when there is excess supply of food, glucose, protein, whatever, It used to stock them in places that are least important or those areas that do not interfere with life threating situation.
Example: 2 kilos of fats stored in my legs, 5 kilos in my thighs, a kilo near the groin area, few kilos in the buttock, around stomach, arms but not near vital organs like heart, kidney, liver to keep the body ticking. So, when I was overweight, I would feel very lazy, resting all time, uninterested in normal aspects of life. But during my spiritual journey, I found out that, weight lost from one place doesn’t usually come back to the same area, again after fast. It means, If body burned 2 kilos of excess fats from thighs during fasting, it wouldn’t put back 2 kilos in the exact same spot once I started to eat again. Also, I noticed minor healing happening as internal repair was on going during the fasting time. When the body has nothing to do as in, breakdown food, etc then It focuses on other things like repair and restoration of organs like liver, pancreas, heart, kidneys etc.
This is where my inner engineering of cells happened. The body had enough time to figure out the root cause of insulin resistance and focused on fixing this all day and all night. Also, during day 5 event with sleeping pills, I couldn’t sleep. My research told, if body doesn’t have enough carbs or any food or drinks coming in at all. Once it finishes the repair and restoration process it doesn’t need rest or needs to rest very little so basically during my sleep my body used to work on repair and restoration process. Heavy carbs meant longer sleep due to more stress on the body. It kind of made sense. I understood a lot of things at an individual level. Now the idea was how could this be helpful to other type 2 diabetics. As this process is not for weight loss. Weight will go away if someone stops eating but will come back straight away once they start eating and drinking normally.
First thing with morning coffee as I had given up coffee during the entire dry fasting experiment. After few minutes of sipping black coffee, I started to feel my heart beat increasing slowly. Then with alcohol, my heart was beating intensely during early mornings especially after nights drinking. Then with itching sensation on hands, legs, sometimes random parts of body after eating sugary desserts or drinking juice or carbonated drinks. I tried these things one at a time and most of the time the distress signs were the same. In other words, my heartbeat was normal during fasting time but increased drastically during night’s sleep after alcohol. I could easily spot the difference. Same with itching sensation and coffee. After being diagnosed with diabetes in 2020, I used to check my weight every day and record it. Come end of 2022, I didn’t need to check weight anymore.
So randomly once a month or so, I used to check my weight, and average weight was around 83 kilos. As per my BMI, 165 cm height, my ideal weight should be 68. I was class one overweight as I didn’t stop eating or drinking. Once my belly got bigger or liver expanded, I knew it was time to reset. But I was not enjoying dry fasting. So in 2024, I got call from my family doctor to do a random check on blood sugar. In theory as per my health records in the database I was still prediabetic. Since my research was ongoing, I came across something called as acetic acid. It is available in Apple cider vinegar and cooking vinegar. I made random mixes and formulas with these two vinegar combinations and tried them for a month and did dry fasting also. I gave blood for testing and report came with 5.1 A1C. So officially I was not diabetic anymore.
So, on a personally level it worked. Now I am working on the formula for acetic acid drink. I see that this has the same effect on the body as a 5-day dry fast. But only 12 hours fast would be sufficient. Which meant that a good percent of type 2 diabetics could manage without food and water for 12 hours. For me if I sense increased heartbeat during early morning, I drink this formula and after half an hour or so my heartbeat stabilizes.
So the idea is not to manage or control diabetes type 2 but try to irradicate it completely. Also take steps to ensure that it does not reoccur.
I have different formulas for this drink that speeds up digestion process and assists in absorbing excess glucose better. I am raising funds to set a diabetes research facilities in India and Estonia. In the research process, I plan to work on 6 or 12 hours fasting techniques combined with the drink. I need funds for place, equipment’s, licensing process of bottled drink, mobile app, personal, KETO kitchen setup and other related activities.
In theory, based on extreme 5-day fast cycle, I could train a type 2 diabetic patient about how to get into fasting, how to activate ketosis process inside the body, maintain ketosis and measure ketones regularly and beat diabetes. All this would happen in 3 fasting cycles or 3 weeks. But this is not a commercial solution as only the strong hearted and most dedicated can endure this tough path.
The alternative is to combine small fasting hours every day in 6 or 12 hours time periods combined with this drink and record the progress. Once all this information is updated in the mobile app, It will be much easier to devise a commercial plan which could reverse type 2 diabetes for much larger section of the mankind as a whole.
The research process in the facility would be something like this:
We open a research facility in city center and promote free A1C tests for both type 2 diabetics and non-diabetics. Once we identify type 2 diabetic patients or if they come to us themselves, we would determine the healing process based on their A1C level and differentiate the patients into pre diabetic with less then 6.5 A1C, diabetic between 6.6 and 10 A1C and advanced diabetic above 10.1. If someone is in dialysis or near amputation stage, we would not consider them for this program as it can be too risky for them. Initially for the first few patients, we would charge them once they fully recover, or they are not diabetic anymore. Later on, we will charge the patients in stages.
I am looking for donors for this project. I am willing to do a one on one video chat or online meet. I am also available in Tallinn, Estonia for meeting face to face and discussion donation options.
I do not want to mix my spiritual awakening process here: but if someone is curious. I can also answer questions about what spirituality is, who are gods, why they come to earth, what is religion, do we need it, if so why. What is human life, how a soul chooses human parents, body, how it enters the human body, it purpose for this life, exit points or options for death, how it chooses time and prepares for death well in advance, what happens after death, ghosts, entities, aliens. Rebirth, karma, natural calamities, blessed humans, advanced souls, why so much progress in our civilization suddenly in the last 100 years, are we heading for extinction like previous civilizations like; Mayans, Incas, Aztecs, etc or will we overcome extinction and head towards immortality. Is reverse ageing possible, path to immortality, witchcraft what is it, how it effects civilizations, why human life span was cut short to 120-year index as against 40,000 plus years or more in previous eras and various other topics.
